Although the show in Chicago isn't until October 2nd, that still leaves a 3000 mile gap between Irvine (Nathanael's house) and there. We got up late and had breakfast and ended up leaving California at 4:00pm.
Our route brought us back through Las Vegas, and since I hadn't gotten to see the new strip at night last time we were in town, we took a small detour.
I like that even in Vegas, McDonalds is blingin'.
After driving all night and all the next day, this is how things are looking.
